About us
Founded in 1963, Caviar de Riofrío is now a world leader in top-quality, luxury gastronomy. It is one of the main sturgeon farms in Europe and the first in the world to achieve organic certification for caviar.
Surroundings
Riofrío is a small village in Loja, in the province of Granada, with just over 400 inhabitants. This peaceful setting is located in the basin of the Guadalquivir river where the native species Acipenser naccarii – also known as the Adriatic sturgeon or ‘sollo’ – thrived for centuries.
